LCJSMS/District:
  • Login to PowerSchool
  • Click on Account Preferences to change your primary email.
  • Click on Power Announcement, and within this page, "Expand All" to change additional phone and email information.

PTO:
  • Email the PTO Communications VP if you wish e-blasts to go to a different email, or wish to opt out of PTO notifications. Please note we strongly prefer you opt out through this method, versus "unsubscribing" in Constant Contact.

MR. GEORGE FUND

The PTO makes funds available annually, to be used at the discretion of the Guidance Dept., to assist any student who does not have clothing or hygiene supplies necessary to attend school. Please contact your child's guidance counselor to take advantage of this confidential fund.
ASK YOUR CHILD ABOUT ADVISORY

Each month, your child will have one or two extended homeroom periods for "Advisory."  During this time, homeroom teachers follow a grade-appropriate curriculum focused on character development.  LCJSMS has identified six pillars of character for this curriculum:  Citizenship; Respect; Caring; Fairness; Trustworthiness; and Responsibility.

Part of what makes these meetings successful is the PTO's contribution of bagels and juice for all students.  Thank you to all the parents who have contributed to the PTO and support this important program!

On December 14th, the focus areas were as follows.  Be sure to ask your students what was discussed!

6th Grade:  Mid-Year Chat N Chew (all pillars)
7th Grade:  Let It Snow (Caring pillar)
8th Grade:  I Appreciate (Caring pillar)
